The Robotics and Automation society chapter at Portland State University (PSU) is dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students can put what they have learned into practical use. Our student members employ various skills from fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Our faculty advisor at Portland State University's Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science is Dr. Marek Perkowski.

We have received a grant for $1500 towards the Rhizome email erosion project.

As of Oct. 2005 we have received a $5000 grant from Dr. Hall to develop a project that will assist elderly.

The 2006 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation takes place at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort hotel, an "official" hotel of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida (Lake Buena Vista) May 15-19 2006. Click here for more information.
